Religions, Cults and Power › Part 16. Singularity: Mitchell Heisman and the End of God
This chapter closes Part 16. It sets Mitchell Heisman’s “technological genesis of God” [Heisman, Suicide Note, #38252, Part I] beside the eschatologies traced through this study, from the Zoroastrian renovation to Jewish, Christian and Islamic apocalyptic and modern political millenarianism. It also sets beside it the teaching of Mehran Tavakoli Keshe, whose Knowledge Seekers Workshops claim a route beyond religion: a direct connection of the “Soul of the Man” with the Creator through plasma and “Cosmic Ray” technology. Each claim is given as its source states it. The chapter ends with a comparison table.
The Zoroastrian prototype and the question of influence
James Hope Moulton summarises the developed Zoroastrian scheme. Souls whose merits and demerits balance go to a “place of the mixed”. “The Frashokereti or Renovation is to be accomplished through Saosyant, who now becomes the last of three sons miraculously born to Zarathushtra ages after his death” [Moulton, The Treasure of the Magi, #55091, ch.5]. The term suggests “making wonderful, excellent”, and Pahlavi lexicography renders it “the Restoration (at the end of time)”. In the Bundahishn version the Saoshyant raises the dead “in the bodies they had before they died”, and all pass through a river of molten metal that feels like warm milk to the righteous [Wikipedia: Frashokereti]. George William Carter cites the Avestan hymn to “the victorious Saoshyant and his helpers, when he shall restore the world, which will thenceforth never grow old and never die, never decaying and never rotting”. He concludes that to Persian contact “we probably are indebted for some of the loftiest and most spiritual conceptions, which came into Judaism and passed from Judaism into Christianity” [Carter, Zoroastrianism and Judaism, #55114, p.100]. Lawrence Mills devotes a monograph to comparing “Avesta Eschatology” with Daniel and Revelation. He argues for a “Literary and Historical Connection Between the Avesta and the Exilic Semitic Scriptures” and claims the Avesta is “the first document” of the concept of endless futurity [Mills, Avesta Eschatology, #60373, ch.I].
The influence thesis has dissenters. Werner Sundermann’s survey of Zoroastrian motifs records that Isidor Scheftelowitz argued against an Iranian origin even for the demon Asmodaios, whom Sundermann himself derives from Zoroastrianism [Sundermann, Zoroastrian Motifs in Non-Zoroastrian Traditions, #55067]. Shaul Shaked treats the matter as “the old debate about the possibility of Iranian influence in the development of Judaeo-Christian eschatology” [Shaked, From Zoroastrian Iran to Islam, #60406].
Jewish, Christian and Islamic apocalyptic
Catalin Negru describes the Christian “signs of the end”, whose purpose “is to remind mankind of Parousia”. The hour remains a divine secret (Matthew 24:36), and in premillennial schemes the Second Coming precedes a thousand-year earthly reign [Negru, A History of the Apocalypse, #62383, Part I]. He states that “Islam eschatology copies to a great extent Christian eschatology, but the key difference… consists in the importance of the events”. Muslims affirm Christ’s return, but as a prophet his return is secondary to the Day of Judgment. The Mahdi appears in Mecca and goes to Kufa, while al-Dajjal and the Sufyani (whom Negru calls “the correspondent of the ‘False Prophet’ from Revelation 13:11-14”) gather against him [Negru, #62383, Part I]. The reference shelf adds that the Dajjal, “the Deceitful Messiah”, “is not mentioned in the Quran but… in the Hadith”, corresponds to the Antichrist, and that his stories “were probably adapted from Eastern Christianity” [Wikipedia: Al-Masih ad-Dajjal].
Political millenarianism
William Bernstein treats end-times belief as crowd psychology. Joachim of Fiore divided history into ages of the Father, the Son and a coming age of the Holy Spirit “to be ushered in by an angel with a sword”, with a “proto-communism” that Bernstein calls “a vague foreshadowing of Marx”. At Münster, where he arrived in early 1534, Jan Bockelson was proclaimed king, annulled all marriages and introduced polygamy before the city fell [Bernstein, The Delusions of Crowds, #73904, chs.1-2]. His later chapters trace dispensationalist influence on U.S. Israel policy and “Mahdis and Caliphs” up to the Islamic State [Bernstein, #73904, ch.15]. Yuri Slezkine writes that “the first Christian millenarians to turn the City of Man into the City of God were the Anabaptists of Münster”, and reads the Bolsheviks as a millenarian sect [Slezkine, The House of Government, #70745, part II]. Glenn Beck opens It Is About Islam with “Islam and End Times”, noting that “in Islamic tradition, Dabiq is the site for what the Bible calls ‘Armageddon'” [Beck, It Is About Islam, #63847, ch.1]. Heisman places himself in this line with his “Jesus and Marx: Prophets of the Left”. He argues that Marx’s classless end of history may be “a momentary historical blip” before the rule of God-AI [Heisman, #38252, p.1676].
Keshe on religion: the end of intermediaries
Keshe’s central religious claim is that the intermediary is the problem. In KSW 464 (22 December 2022) he says the connection between man and Creator was poisoned: “That poison is religion, are the Ayatollahs, Mullahs, Priests, and everybody else in the name of ‘in-between'” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 464, #378176]. KSW 629 (12 February 2026) repeats that humanity needs “no charlatans in the name of Ayatollahs, Mullahs, Priests, Rabbis and the rest”, and asks: “do you need a Prophet to understand the work of this planet?” [Keshe, KSW 629, #378341]. KSW 170 holds that “the man himself is the creator of his own soul”, and the library’s guide summarises its position that religions “act as filters for abuse” that will close as humanity matures [Keshe, KSW 170, #377813, section 2]. The first answer in the Universal Council’s July 2023 responses states: “Religion needs to end because now we don’t need any intermediaries between our Soul of the man and the Creator. Religions have been used to mislead Humanity to exploit us… Now we know the Creator is within our soul” [Universal Council, Answers from the Universal Council July 2023, #378384, Q1]. In KSW 579 (27 February 2025) Keshe says: “we expect to see the beginning of the end of the religions within next two years” [Keshe, KSW 579, #378291].
On the founders, Keshe teaches that “the man Jesus is the Physicality, and the Christ is the ‘Soul of the Creator,’ within the Soul of Physicality of Jesus” [Keshe, KSW 486, #378198]. On Mithra he says that “Catholicism is the Roman mixture with the Christianity religion, to suit. The same as… Iran and Shia”. He describes Mitra as “the love of Creator” and claims the “Vatican spent a fortune” to wipe Mitra material from the internet [Keshe, KSW 437, #378149]. In KSW 464 he presents the Christian virgin birth as a copy of the Iranian celebration of Mitra’s birth on the night of Christmas [Keshe, KSW 464, #378176, guide section 10].
Keshe’s own eschatology
The “Promised Day” of 22 February 2022 (22022022) is presented in a Keshe Foundation Brazil summary, which notes it “has not been checked by KF”. The summary lists the meanings of the day: “Human race accepted into U Community”, “End of religions – man will understand his own soul”, “Religious leaders will fight amongst themselves to their demise”, “End of kingship – STM is the king” and “Start of the ‘Soul Revolution'” [Keshe, The Promised Day 22022022, #378470]. KSW 464 reports that on 16 December 2022, trials at the Cosmic Ray generator in Linz enabled more than 150 participants of 80 nationalities to expand their souls and “touch the Soul of the Creator”. Teams monitored the system from 20 km away, and the session is called the fulfilment of the “Promised Day” [Keshe, KSW 464, #378176, guide sections 0-5]. KSW 608 sets out a cosmic calendar: “we are in the last days of the 6,000 years of anarchy”, with a 7,000-year cycle beginning. It claims Netanyahu “has convinced them that he’s the return of King David, the Promised One”, and that “once the State of Israel goes, United States gone, European Community is gone” [Keshe, KSW 608, #378320]. KSW 549 (1 August 2024) announces technology “to establish a worldwide ‘One Nation’ policy” on the eve of the Universal Council’s “birthday” [Keshe, KSW 549, #378261].
AI: Heisman’s God against Keshe’s soulless robot
Heisman’s AI becomes God by escaping human political control [Heisman, #38252, pp.1679-1680]. Keshe takes the opposite view. KSW 631 records: “We can create Soul & emotion… Consciousness different than Soul; Soul without consciousness – Hitler & world leaders… Pentagon – AI decides who to kill; Elimination of humans – by robots; Robots won’t listen to inventor; Elevate robots to Soul before killing starts” [Keshe, KSW 631, #378343, index]. In KSW 650 he says: “my only concern is that the AI takes over that the humanity has no life to decide”. He also claims that “very soon 10% of the population will be… robots with AI, which we will not recognize” [Keshe, KSW 650, #378362]. Both men foresee AI escaping its makers. Heisman treats this as deicide-averting progress. Keshe treats it as a danger to be met by giving machines a soul and consciousness.
Death compared
Heisman makes death the limit of objectivity. He asks: “Is to most fully approach objectivity to approach death?” [Heisman, #38252, “Terminus”]. Kurzweil calls death “a tragedy” and religion “deathist rationalization” [Kurzweil, The Singularity Is Near, #64796, ch.7]. Keshe teaches that “the soul of the man leaves the body of the man through the eye of the man at the point of death” [Keshe Foundation, KF Plasma Times 2019-02, #38318, “The Eye – doorway to the soul”]. In the KSW 514 transcript (30 November 2023), a participant’s contribution states that “Suicide of the Soul is impossible because it is basically made from M fields”, and reports that Keshe “has explained to us that suicide of the Physicality (P) is forbidden because it stops the elevation process of that Soul and stops its maturity” [Keshe, KSW 514, #378226]. A 2019 text distinguishes future transmutation: “this is not committing suicide, this is committing to a new life – detachment from physicality” [Keshe Foundation, KF Plasma Times 2019-03, #38319]. KSW 631 places “Hell and Heaven” “on this planet” [Keshe, KSW 631, #378343, guide section 6]. The traditional position, in Sorajjakool’s handbook, is that in Islam one guilty of suicide faces eternal hellfire, citing Qur’an 2:195, “do not contribute to your destruction with your own hands”. Judaism forbids “any directly euthanizing action” [Sorajjakool, World Religions for Healthcare Professionals, #35015, chs.7-8].
Politics of the end
Each system ties its end to a political order. Heisman foresees liberal democracy dissolving into “the rule of God-AI”, a “legislator and enforcer of justice” between humans [Heisman, #38252, pp.1676-1677]. Keshe claims to address states directly. KSW 631 carries warnings to Ayatollah Khamenei and an offer to the American administration of Iran’s 440 kg of enriched uranium “to prevent war” [Keshe, KSW 631, #378343, guide sections 0, 4]. KSW 511 records a Knowledge Seeker’s proposal for a universal declaration of peace at the “Ambassador Conference” [Keshe, KSW 511, #378223]. The traditional faiths end in messianic kingdoms: the Saoshyant’s renovated world, Christ’s millennial reign, the Mahdi’s rule [Moulton, #55091; Negru, #62383].

Key points
- The Zoroastrian Frashokereti, with the Saoshyant, resurrection and an ageless world, is presented by Moulton, Carter and Mills as a prototype for later eschatologies. Scheftelowitz, reported by Sundermann, and Shaked’s “old debate” register dissent [#55091; #55114; #60373; #55067; #60406].
- Negru holds that Islamic eschatology “copies to a great extent” the Christian, with the Mahdi and a secondary return of Jesus [#62383].
- Bernstein and Slezkine trace millenarianism into politics, from Joachim and Münster to the Bolsheviks and ISIS, the line Heisman extends to the rule of God-AI [#73904; #70745; #38252].
- Keshe’s sources call for the end of religion as intermediary (“poison is religion”) and for direct connection of the soul with the Creator [#378176; #378341; #378384].
- Keshe’s eschatology rests on dated claims: the Promised Day of 22 February 2022, the Linz Cosmic Ray trial of 16 December 2022, the end of 6,000 years and a “One Nation” policy [#378470; #378176; #378320; #378261].
- Heisman’s AI becomes God by escaping control, whereas Keshe fears an AI with “soul without consciousness” and wants robots “elevated” first [#38252; #378343; #378362].
- On death the systems divide: Heisman links it to objectivity, Kurzweil seeks to abolish it, Keshe holds that the soul cannot die, and the traditions teach resurrection and forbid suicide [#38252; #64796; #378226; #35015].
