Religions, Cults and Power › Part 15. The Keshe Knowledge Seekers Workshops
Christianity gets more attention in the Knowledge Seekers Workshops (KSW) than any other tradition. Mehran Tavakoli Keshe returns to it in two registers. The first is a reinterpretation of its central events. In his account the crucifixion is a self-judgment, the resurrection is “transmutation”, and the Ascension is a clerical invention. The second is a political reading of the Roman Catholic Church as a financial and geopolitical power, whose wars, debts and eventual “closing” he describes and predicts. This chapter sets out both registers in the order the transcripts present them. It then places them beside the mainstream doctrinal accounts and beside the “swoon” and substitution theories treated in earlier parts. All statements about Christ, the Vatican or world events below are Keshe’s claims as transcribed by the Keshe Foundation (KF) and its volunteers, unless another source is named.
1. “Christ never died on the cross”: KSW 134
The fullest early statement comes in KSW 134 (2016). Keshe answers a question about soul elevation and states that the traditional narrative is wrong. In his account Christ, “when they put [him] on the cross”, “took from his P [physicality] to elevate his own soul that repaired the P damage”, and “walked out of Jerusalem in a P life”. He adds: “There was no resurrection … He never disappeared nor resurrected” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 134, #377777, “Field Flow Dynamics and the Nature of Christ’s Resurrection”]. The mechanism, he says, is that crucifixion kills by “the weight of your body pulling you down that tears the organs apart”, the “separation of the P tearing apart from the E [emotion]”. Christ “could manage to hold it” and “tapped into U Energy to receive what he could not receive from the food” [Keshe, KSW 134, #377777, “Christ’s Resurrection and Plasma Energy Mechanics”].
The same passage gives the cross a moral meaning. In Keshe’s reading the crucifixion “was for His soul to be elevated to understand His P misconduct”. He states: “The Cross is not there for the P of it, it is there for you to become the judge of your own conduct” [Keshe, KSW 134, #377777]. He then gives a post-crucifixion biography: Christ “left Jerusalem and never mentioned his own name”, “had a child and wanted to be the father to the child”, “lived out his life as a common man and died natural death”, and “You’ll find the remains of Christ in South of France”. He ties this to the pilgrim road “between France and Spain … this is the path of Christ” [Keshe, KSW 134, #377777]. He then makes a personal claim: “Christ never died on the cross, He elevated himself. I have done that 3 times and the people around me know”. He links this to recovering from “my own cancer and broken bones” [Keshe, KSW 134, #377777, “Self-Healing, Soul Elevation, and the Critique of Traditional Religion”].
The session also ranks the founders. Christ and Moses brought “the same message”, “Buddha understood more but he could not connect”, and “Mohammad lost his way not by his own but by his followers”. “Christianity the way it is now did not exist and it was never the intention of Christ” [Keshe, KSW 134, #377777]. Keshe also expects opposition: “The Pope will burn me down in everyway possible now that people know the truth … they can come in shape of Masons, Knights of Malta, Popes and Ayatollahs” [Keshe, KSW 134, #377777].
2. Resurrection as transmutation: KSW 428 and the KF Brazil excerpt
By 2022 Keshe was describing the event with the vocabulary of his “Book One, Two and Three” plasma science. A KF Brazil compilation, Resurrection Part 1: Easter – Christ – Transmutation, edits three time-coded excerpts of KSW 428 (14 April 2022): “Easter Christ transmutes body”, “Perfects leaving body Detachment” and “Taught transmutation Last Supper”. It carries the note “Summary has not been checked by KF” [Keshe, Resurrection Part 1: Easter – Christ – Transmutation (Excerpt 428 KSW), #378484]. The compilers’ introduction states the frame: “The resurrection of Christ has baffled humanity for 2,000 years … it was all kept a mystery without any scientific explanation. That is, until now, with the teachings of Mr. Keshe”. It reads the Gospel scene of Mary Magdalene not recognising the risen Jesus as proof that “his body was different” [#378484, “Introduction”].
In the excerpt Keshe defines the crucifixion as “the conversion of the physicality (P) to the dimension (D) of the Soul, and then the return of the Soul back to physicality”. Christ “separated the D of P” on the cross, “transformed himself back to a man”, “came off the cross and walked away with a new physicality”, and travelled “to North Africa, Northern Spain and France” [#378484, “Summary”]. He claims the process can be repeated: “You can do scientifically, what the Christ did as a magician … In theology, they call it resurrection. In science we call it transmutation. But there is no difference” [#378484]. He then extends it to Islam, equating the return of the Mahdi (“the return of Methi”) with “the return of the soul of Mohammad” [#378484]. The fuller KSW 428 transcript adds that the Last Supper was the last meal Christ ate as a prophet before a conscious transmutation on the cross. It also says Christ was given the knowledge of transmutation only “at the last minute” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 428, #378140, “End of Kingship, Church Abuse, and the Nature of Resurrection”].
This differs from the 2016 version. KSW 134 describes self-healing of the same physical body and a walk out of Jerusalem. The 2022 material describes dematerialisation and re-manifestation of a new body. Both versions agree that there was no death followed by divine raising.
3. Transfiguration, “72 ships” and the late Bible: KSW 488
In KSW 488 (1 June 2023) a questioner raises the Transfiguration, which the questioner places “40 days before his crucifixion”. Keshe’s answer, in the transcript’s paraphrase, is: “If it was true about the 40 days before crucifixion, then Jesus would never have allowed himself to be put on the cross”. He adds that “There was a purpose for him to be put on the cross, because of what he did” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 488, #378200]. The same answer offers a political explanation of the execution. Jesus had been telling people “don’t do anything against Rome”, and he knew “they’re going to put him exactly where they put the others” [#378200].
On scripture Keshe says: “Christ himself said, ‘my work will be carried by 72 ships.’ Which means he knew that his teachings will find 72 different ways of interpretation”. He continues: “the Bible we read was put together 300 years later. So anybody can put anything to fit anybody”. By contrast, “The only message which is written by the man himself, is Bahá’u’lláh’s”; the Koran “was written 40 years later” [#378200, “Critique of Religious Interpretations”]. The study guide summarises his ranking: the Bible and Torah are “heavily diluted”, “with the Catholic Church representing the worst version” [#378200]. KSW 134 had already praised Bahá’u’lláh’s “hidden work” as “the only transition book we have” [#377777].
4. The Ascension as clerical fabrication: KSW 486
KSW 486 (18 May 2023) is headed “Ascension of Christ explained; Made up by clergy” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 486, #378198, “Beginning”]. Keshe separates the person from the principle: “the man Jesus is the P, and the Christ is the ‘Soul of the Creator,’ within the STP of Jesus” [#378198]. He holds that ascension is not a single event reserved for one figure. Every soul, on leaving physicality, “ascend[s] to their appropriate positions in the Universe based on their conduct and strength”. He also asks rhetorically whether a soul that leaves “no physicality on this planet” has “ascended, or … transmuted”, since “when he ascends from the Earth, has to descend somewhere else” [#378198, “Ascension of Christ and Soul Transmutation”]. The same session claims that Jesus shared his deepest knowledge with his female companions rather than his male disciples, which led to the misunderstanding of his teachings in the records [#378198, “Fear, Ascension, and Jesus’s Teachings”].
5. The Vatican as a political actor
Keshe’s dealings with the Vatican began with outreach. In KSW 16 (26 June 2014), after a KF delegation’s visit, he states that “the reason to go to Vatican was nothing to do to put down the integrity of the position of the Pope, but to unite the Religions … we meet in the cloth of man, not with higher hierarchy. We have invited 6 world leaders for this meeting. Its not about to create another Religion” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 16, #377659]. In KSW 360 (24 December 2020) he says that “21st of December, the longest night, the birth of Mitra was celebrated as the birth of Christ too”, and that the Vatican moved the feast to the 25th [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 360, #378072] (compare Chapter 153). The reference shelf records the Roman festival Dies Natalis Solis Invicti and the Mithraic epithet “Sol Invictus” in the same calendar area [Wikipedia: Sol Invictus; Wikipedia: Mithraism in comparison with other belief systems].
By KSW 173 (25 May 2017) the tone is accusatory. Keshe opens: “I thank those in Vatican who informed us, they averted a third world war. These things have been planned for 5 years”. He claims “the misconduct of Vatican, Jerusalem, and Islamic world, (working) all together, now it is a big cult. Religion is just money making”. He then gives a series of pronouncements: “Pope, step down, the term of Christ is over”; for Judaism, “it is the end of the term”; and to Islam, “the term of Mohammed has finished”. Unification “doesn’t come by talking … but by abolishing the whole of the religious structure”. The goal is “one nation, planet, race” and “free health in exchange for world peace” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 173, #377816]. Later in the session he tells listeners to go around the hierarchy: “When you can talk to the owner of the house, why do you talk to the cleaner with the name of the Pope … Would you like to speak to the rat of the house or its owner?” He says the soul of Christ “will tell you that there should be no Vatican” [#377816, “Direct Communication with the Soul”].
In KSW 311 (16 January 2020) the accusation becomes a prediction: “we’ll see the stepping down and closing of Vatican. It will be done voluntarily and the Pope. In that process the stones of Vatican shall return to its original place … it will be only a relic … and coliseum will become the place where we celebrate life” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 311, #378023]. The same session predicts a planet with “no king, no emperor, no Archbishops, and no Popes” [#378023].
6. Money, Ukraine and the end of “kingship”
KSW 422 (3 March 2022), held one week into the Russian invasion of Ukraine, gives Keshe’s financial thesis. The Vatican is a financial entity rather than a spiritual house. It treats religious conflict as investment, and it funded both the Ukraine war and divisions in China to win Orthodox and Chinese believers (“you make 1 billion Chinese Christian, Vatican becomes triple billionaire”) [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 422, #378134, “Nano-coating, Heartbeat Physiology, and Geopolitical Claims”]. On Britain he says: “They warred with England for 300 years, they won the Church of England, the Queen is a servant of the Vatican at the moment”. He also claims: “The British Monarchy took revenge on loosing the Church of England to Vatican, by taking 140 billion dollars of gold from the vaults of Libya”. The study guide also records his link between Brexit and unpaid Vatican debts [#378134, “Religious Criticism, Geopolitics, and Spiritual Corrections”]. On the war itself: “Don’t worry about this Ukraine business, Vatican has already paid for it. And they receive the bill everyday, how many bullets used”. He predicts “more mayhem between the 2 Churches” unless people accept “that God’s word is within the Soul of the Man” [#378134].
Six weeks later, KSW 428 announces an end to the “kingship” of churches. It names the Vatican, Moscow and the Church of England: “I pray for the soul of … the leaders of Vatican, that they come to their senses. And the same with the Church in Moscow”. It refers to “when the Church of England start selling the churches. The physical abuse of the man, which came forward was unbelievable” [Keshe, KSW 428, #378140]. The session also criticises the Vatican’s treatment of ageing clergy (“Vatican retires the priests at age of 65. Don’t pay them anything, and the pension starts at 70”). It says the United Kingdom’s “privy Council” is an “instigator of many wars”, and that “KF does not build temples” but institutes [#378140, “Soul Elevation and Religious Critique”]. In KSW 574 (23 January 2025) he states: “This year of 2025 … It’s the first time that religious wars will come to an end” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 574, #378286]. In KSW 578 (20 February 2025) a questioner contrasts the founders’ poverty (“Christ and his disciples, Muhammad and Ali”) with clerical luxury. Keshe answers that a priest’s family “has now become extremely rich … since he was promoted to Monsignor as an advisor to the Pope”. He adds that “there is no accounting for all the money that is donated”, that “All our religious leaders are trillionaires, according to one statement from international accounting”, and that “Some of Iran Ayatollahs are on the top richest people in the world” [Keshe, Knowledge Seekers Workshop 578, #378290].
7. Comparison with mainstream and alternative accounts
The mainstream doctrine treated in Parts 7–9 makes the bodily death and resurrection of Jesus the centre of the faith. Paul’s summary of “the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ” in 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 is the gospel itself [Thompson, Apostle of Persuasion, #67385], and Jensen calls the resurrection “the supreme authentication of the kingship of Jesus” [Jensen, Jensen’s Survey of the New Testament, #64079]. Luke–Acts sets the Ascension forty days after Easter [Wikipedia: Acts 1; Wikipedia: Ascension of Jesus]. Keshe’s claims that the Ascension was “made up by clergy” and that the Bible was compiled “300 years later” therefore strike at the canonical narrative and at its textual basis.
His “did not die” claim belongs to a family of older theories. The swoon hypothesis began with Bahrdt (c. 1780), Venturini and Paulus. It was later taken up in Schonfield’s The Passover Plot and in Holy Blood, Holy Grail. Ahmed Deedat and the Ahmadiyya founder Mirza Ghulam Ahmad used it in Muslim apologetics. Most biblical scholars have discarded it, and a JAMA analysis judged it irreconcilable with medicine [Wikipedia: Swoon hypothesis]. The Qur’anic position (“they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it was made to appear to them so”) is closer to substitution than to swoon [Wikipedia: Swoon hypothesis, “Islamic perspectives”]. Laurence Gardner’s bloodline account, which questions Paul’s argument for a bodily resurrection, is the closest library parallel to Keshe’s “child” and “south of France” motifs [Gardner, Bloodline of the Holy Grail, #62262].
| Question | Mainstream doctrine | Swoon / bloodline theories | Islamic substitution | Keshe (KSW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Did Jesus die on the cross? | Yes [#67385] | No; unconscious, revived [Wikipedia: Swoon hypothesis] | Not crucified; “made to appear so” | No; he “elevated himself” [#377777] |
| What is the resurrection? | Bodily raising by God [#64079] | Recovery mistaken for resurrection | Not applicable | Healing (2016) or transmutation and re-manifestation (2022) [#377777; #378484] |
| Ascension | Literal, after forty days [Wikipedia: Acts 1] | Usually replaced by later life | Raised to God | “Made up by clergy”; all souls ascend by conduct [#378198] |
| Later life | Not applicable | Gaul / France, descendants [#62262] | Return at the end time | France, a child, natural death [#377777] |
| Can it be repeated? | No; unique saving event | No | No | Yes; Keshe says he did it “3 times” [#377777] |
Keshe agrees with the swoon theories on survival and with the bloodline literature on France. Unlike them, he does not explain the survival by medicine, drugs or conspiracy. He explains it by a technique that he presents as repeatable and teachable through KF devices. That is the point on which he departs from every other account in the table.
Key points
- In KSW 134 (2016) Keshe says Christ “never died on the cross”. In his account Christ used soul and emotion and drew on “U Energy” to repair his body, left Jerusalem, had a child and died naturally in the south of France. Keshe says he has done such self-elevation “3 times” [#377777].
- In Keshe’s reading the cross is a tool of self-judgment for one’s own “misconduct”, not a vicarious sacrifice [#377777].
- In KSW 428 (2022), as excerpted by KF Brazil, the resurrection becomes “transmutation”: the soul separates physicality from the body, travels and re-manifests a new body. Christ is said to have learned this just before the crucifixion [#378484; #378140].
- KSW 486 and 488 call the Ascension a clerical fabrication. The Bible is “put together 300 years later”, and Bahá’u’lláh’s is the only message “written by the man himself” [#378198; #378200].
- Keshe’s relation to the Vatican moves from a 2014 visit “to unite the Religions” [#377659], to the 2017 accusation of a Vatican–Jerusalem–Islamic war plan [#377816], to the 2020 prediction of a voluntary closing of the Vatican [#378023].
- KSW 422 presents the Vatican as a financial power. It links the Libyan gold, Brexit and the Ukraine war to Vatican money and to the rivalry with the Russian Orthodox Church [#378134].
- Later sessions predict the end of church “kingship” and of religious wars in 2025, and accuse Monsignors and Ayatollahs of untaxed wealth [#378140; #378286; #378290].
- The “did not die” claim overlaps with the swoon and bloodline theories but differs in mechanism and in claiming the feat is repeatable. It contradicts the mainstream doctrine of a unique bodily death and resurrection [Wikipedia: Swoon hypothesis; #64079; #67385].
